Mowo Fleet is redefining the multi modal urban mobility landscape by building fleet services by women. They have on boarded and started motor skill capacity building for 60 women drivers for both two and three wheelers focussing mainly on electric vehicles.

They schedule fixed and dynamic last-mile commute and logistic services in the B2B sector by having partnerships with Even Cargo, Uber & Bluedart. In the B2C sector, they are piloting school pickup and drops.

The company is currently training 130 more women to add to the fleet and provides safety measures like training in self-defence, 24/7 support line, etc. They also integrate preventive measures to mitigate security risk for each driver through collaborative configuration of safe zones and safe stops, charging facilities along the job routes.

Founder

As an avid motorcyclist, Jai Bharathi led several national and cross-country motorcycling expeditions covering more than 1,00,000 kms across South East Asia and the United States, and won praise from Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, among several global accolades. As a champion of women’s mobility, she established ~ MOWO ( MOving WOmen), a not for profit entity in 2019, aimed at training women and girls to ride 2 & 3 wheelers, empowering them and equipping them with an employable skill through India’s first motor training facility dedicated for women, which she played a pivotal role in setting up. In her entrepreneurial stint, she is working to match the demand in last-mile logistics and commute with a supply of well-trained and reliable fleet of women drivers. Her vision is to enable a million women in mobility by 2030.
