EcoOpus Agri Ventures provides comprehensive services to farmers to manage their produce and farm biomass. By promoting appropriate small farm technologies, they have been able to reconstruct agriculture supply chains to make them more efficient and remunerative.

EcoOpus provides a one-stop solution for farmers’ harvest and post-harvest needs through a network of Centralized Threshing Centers, all managed and operated by village youth. EcoOpus maximizes returns from farm biomass, thus providing most services to farmers at absolutely no costs.

Having established a strong proof-of-concept for five major crops in complementing geographies of Maharashtra, EcoOpus is now all set to expand its operations in neighboring states of Central and Northern India.

Ajay Lahane

CO-FOUNDER

With an MBA in Rural Management from IRMA, Ajay has travelled extensively all across India to understand and find solutions to the most pertinent challenges in the agri-biomass industry today. A mechanical engineer by background, Ajay has been instrumental in identifying the right farm technologies and oversees the strategy and operations at EcoOpus.

Uday Nankar

CO-FOUNDER

Uday brings with him his vast experience of working with grass roots organizations to address farmer issues by building community institutions. Over the years, Uday has also gained expertise in conducting biomass assessment and feasibility studies by using tools such as GIS. Also a graduate in Rural Management from IRMA, Uday manages finance and outreach at EcoOpus.

Anshuman Gupta

CO-FOUNDER

Having worked with international development organizations and the Ministry of Rural Development for 8 years, Anshuman brings with him strong project management and organizational skills. An electronics engineer by background with dual degrees in Rural Management and Public Administration, he contributes to technology integration and business development at EcoOpus.
